Reaching your Sakinah starts with you.
Receive evidence-based and collaborative mental health treatment in-person or from the comfort of your home.
Welcome, we’re so glad you’re here.
My name is Dr. Zena Dadouch. I am a doctoral-level licensed trauma psychologist.
Mental health is an integral part of leading a wholesome healthy life.
As the saying goes “healthy body, healthy mind”; the opposite is equally true.
Life comes with all sorts of traumatic events and difficult circumstances that impact our mental wellbeing and manifests in feelings of sadness, anxiety, stress, anger and discontent.
It is important for us all to navigate and overcome these difficulties so they don’t affect our overall health and quality of life.
The word Sakinah in the Arabic language translates to tranquility and inner peace.
I chose this word as a name for our practice because it encompasses the goal I strive to help everyone achieve: a feeling of contentment and peace amidst the turmoils of life.
Along with our wonderful Marriage and Family therapist, Rimsha Khan, we are dedicated to helping individuals, couples, families, children, and teens navigate the complexities of life with resilience and understanding.
